Job Title: Big Data Architect
Duration: 6 + Months Contract
Location: Englewood, CO
Data Architect
The Data Architect will work within the Marketing Services business unit to deliver complex data analytics to clients who are customers of Client''s industry leading media insights. The Data Architect will work as a member of the Solutions Enablement team to perform complex data mining techniques. This position will work with Sales Engineering, and Advisory Services to create large scale data extracts which must be matched using unique models to create audience targeting and ad media exposure metrics. The Data Architect must assess requirements for the data that is to be modeled, and use expert skills and decision making skills to obtain the necessary data which will be relevant for analysis. This will include creating new utilities, and techniques to extract and automate the data gathering and presentation for analysis and measurement.
The Data Architect is a member of a team of professionals whose responsibilities include:
1. Creative analytical thinking for problem solving and solution design
2. Utilizing technologies to extract and compile data sets for analysis and measurement
3. Creation of reusable software utilities for specific customer projects
4. Working with product management and product engineering to productize utilities and methods
5. Mentoring and training customers and internal team members on data sets and utilities
6. Performing Analytical Requirements definition to ensure delivery of correct data and metrics
7. Quality Assurance on Data and metrics prior to delivery
8. Creation of visualizations or training which may be presented internally or to a customer
9. Assisting Data Analysts with detailed evaluation of the result metrics to pinpoint the most accurate measurement.
10. Consulting with customers on various big data technology stacks including training, best practice advising, environment signing as it relates to Client''s deliveries, and some investigation into issues the customer’s may encounter.

Specific Experience and Skills:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
2. Master’s degree preferred
3. 10+ years of software development experience with an emphasis in big data science
4. Experience in digital marketing analytics preferable
5. Excellent flexibility, and the ability to own multiple analytic tasks at once
6. Strong problem solving and requirements definition with the ability to adapt to changing deliverables quickly
7. Ability to train and be trained in an agile environment
8. To be located in Englewood, Colorado
9. The ability to travel up to 25%
