ROLE: Batch Operations Specialist II
Location: Rancho Cordova, CA

CANDIDATES MUST HAVE RECENT BATCH OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE

TASKS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Journey-level technician supporting systems operations functions, such as batch job scheduling, monitoring, and recovery.
Experience with automated enterprise batch scheduling software, preferably Tivoli Workload Scheduler
Provides 24x7x365 coverage for batch processing.
Performs file transfers, backup/restore functions, monitors memory usage and other system health indicators.
Performs troubleshooting of system stalls, failed batch jobs, system errors, as needed to resume normal operations in accordance with specific guidelines and procedures. Escalates unresolved problems to system and application specialists.
Completes special projects and duties assigned by management to improve batch operations and identify automation opportunities.
Maintains direct knowledge of all system operations processes, procedures, and quality standards.
