Base24 Configuration Engineer
Description
BASE24 is an integrated core payments engine that acquires, authenticates, switches and authorizes financial transactions across multiple channels. BASE24 enables high-volume, high-availability processing through scalable, fault-tolerant software architecture. It features highly extensible authorization processing and multi-platform availability, while providing flexible switching and routing to major networks, card associations and processors.
This position will serve as a configuration analyst, responsible for Development, Test and Production Environment configuration management, support, and code implementation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical aptitude across a broad spectrum of technology with solid experience in the HP Nonstop environment. They will have experience with systems integration support using the ACI Base24 Classic solution and have a history of working across organizations delivering solutions dependent on multiple groups for business process and technology requirements.
You will work with engineers and operational support staff to provide solutions that meet business
and technical requirements which follow firm-wide enterprise architecture, audit and risk practices.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field.
Application Operational Support experience using ACI Base24 Classic environment.
Experience writing and utilizing TACL scripts
HP Nonstop Enform reporting experience
HP Nonstop file utilities experience
Implementation experience with TSS and XPNET
Experience with Oracle Data Replication
Well versed in TCP/IP, MQ, SSL
Structured knowledge of SDLC, requirement analysis, design, new development, testing, implementation and support
Banking applications and US banking business
ATM/POS, switch, online transaction processing, financial networks, card authentication and authorization experience
Code Implementation Processes
Capable of complex independent problem solving.
Applicant should have the ability to engage in production support issues and determine root cause for application problems and issues.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to establish a good working relationship with peers and outside organizations.
Base24 Application Developer
Description
As an Application Developer for the Base24 application, you will be responsible to design, build, and support financial applications for the Banking Industry. This position requires solid development, testing, documentation and troubleshooting capabilities to satisfy business requirements.
You will participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and design responsive technology solutions. You will understand and comply with Project Life Cycle methodology and adhere to IT control policies and corporate architectural standards throughout the design, development and implementation of systems.
The candidate will be expected to perform hands-on new development as well as support, maintain and enhance existing application functions.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with high volume transaction based systems using the ACI Base24 Classic in a HP Nonstop environment.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or related technical field.
Application Development experience using ACI Base24 Classic development environment.
Development on TANDEM platform with TAL/pTAL, COBOL/SCOBOL and C/C++, with systems programming and support
Coding, debugging with inspect and writing TACL script
Structured programming with knowledge of SDLC, requirement analysis, design, new development, testing, implementation and support
Banking applications and US banking business
ATM/POS, switch, online transaction processing, financial networks, card authentication and authorization
Paragon transaction simulators
TANDEM source code management and control
Experience with EMV Issuer and Acquirer on BASE24
Capable of complex independent problem solving.
