Job Decription:
IBM product upgrades for BPM and ODM to remain in compliance with software and technical support subscriptions
Upgrade of J2EE applications/Hibernate, Application Servers, and Web Servers.
Production return to service activities
Partner with Core teams on determining issues with major version upgrades and resolution.
Assist with enhancing Track Claims Application and return to service Production resolution.
Consult with ECS team on developing solution on Shared Library to resolve existing issues on library class loader issues.
Create scripts for automated testing and validation of applications using Selenium and Silk testing tools.
Performance tuning of application on new environments.
DevOps implementation for all J2EE projects using Jenkins, Selenium, Silk performer and L&I defined tools.
Assist with proof of concepts and acting as a consultant while moving towards micro services and containerization.
Automate configuration management for consistent environments and configurations to create desktop and application server environments.
Assist project teams on utilizing or integrating with existing IBM SOA products.
Provide consultation for API cloud integration and existing on premise solutions.
Help teams with new or existing Java/J2EE application developments or migrations.
Strong Java/J2EE and IBM product stack knowledge to help existing, new initiatives, or return to service activities.
New Change Request development for critical issues with production applications.
