Role: BI-SQL Developer
Location: Ann Arbor, MI, USA
Client: East West Industrial Engineering (EWIE Co., Inc
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES MAY INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:
Work with EWIE’s Fortune 500 customers and support the IT team in launching new programs that optimize supply chain, indirect procurement, and inventory management.
Travel to customer locations in US, Canada and Mexico and support the launch teams, as required.
Work independently with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to gather business requirements and define systems goals, and identify and resolve issues.
Assist in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications
Create design specifications and provide directions to system programmers (On-Site and Off-shore)
Work with the business teams to deploy ERP system.
Work with the customer and vendors to implement EDI solutions
Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
Develop and enhance .NET applications
Develop SQL Solutions including Reporting, Integration & Analytics
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s Degree required
5+ years’ experience in a Systems Analyst (techno-functional) role
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
Analytical thinking, utilizing structured problem solving skills
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies, systems and processes
Ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, complex and global environment
Self-motivated with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Ability to write SQL Queries to extract/review/analyze data to address business needs
Desired Qualifications and Skills
Experience with one or more ERP systems - Oracle eBusiness suite (EBS) OR other ERP systems (SAP, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, Infor SX.e, MS Dynamics etc
Experience in additional areas:
o Share-point Development
o Data Warehouse Management
CribMaster and/or AutoCrib Industrial vending machine knowledge
