IDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT position available immediately for BI Publisher Developer to join our customer in Phoenix Arizona. This is an ONSITE position. Job Duties:
The BI Developer will work with the Business Intelligence and Data Integration (BIDI) team to design, develop, implement, support and enhance Enterprise wide Oracle Business Intelligence application. This BI developer will work closely with Business Analysts to obtain an understanding of the business and use the company’s BI solutions to support various business processes and reporting needs. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator and ability to deliver business solutions.
Major Responsibilities:
Gathering requirements from business users for reporting Metrics, KPIs and standard analytics, and transforming these requirements into Business Intelligence solutions
Conducting design sessions with data owners toward capturing business requirement for a self-service analytics environment
Working with Data Architects to design and develop Data Marts
Developing reports using BI Publisher.
Mastery creating XML data and report layout templates in BI Publisher
Assisting with the development of complex ad-hoc queries (SQL and PLSQL) using OBIEE tools
Supporting enhancements and maintenance of existing Dashboards and Reports.
Required Skills:
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or related discipline and at least five years’ experience in systems architecture and development methodologies, or an equivalent combination of education and work experiences.
2-3 years of architecture, design and development skills related directly to business analytics, data warehouse design and data integration strategies.
Strong understanding of Star and Snowflake dimensional modeling
2-3 years experience with complex BI Publisher development
Excellent communication skills to be able to work with business owners to develop and define key business questions and build dashboards/reports that answer those questions.
Nice to Have:
OBIEE Dashboard Development (including RPD development)
Proficiency creating maps
