Title: BI Functional Analyst [XTGL_26023]
Location: Charlotte, NC
Type: 18 + Months Contract
Job Description
The focus of this position is to act as the Business Intelligence Reporting Functional Analyst for our 2017 Corporate Security Case Management System Replacement Initiative Program.
Our initiative include responsibilities for business process analysis, developing detailed business requirement documents, and ensure successful implementation of analytical Dashboards, operational reporting analytics and empower business users to have minimal IT dependency with more self-service analytics.
Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements.
Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. Prepares specifications for system changes.
May develop systems test plan components and test scripts.
May act as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of business analyst experience
Must have a keen understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and technology
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
Understanding of both the Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
Must be able to analyze and validate data in various systems and tools
Experience in developing ad-hoc reports within SAP Business Objects for customer and analysis
Strong BI strategic and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong requirements gathering skills
Must be able to work against tight project deadlines
Required Skills :
FUNCTIONAL BUSINESS ANALYST
Dashboard experience (tableau/lumira/other)
Supporting Business Objects Universe Design – not developing –going to gathering requirements
Skills Needed
Knowledge of SAP Business Objects security access levels
Experience with one or both data visualization tools – Tableau, SAP Lumira
Knowledge of SAP Business Warehouse
