Job Description :
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with or performing basic analysis of technical aspects of development projects.
2. Develop ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) code, reports and Business Intelligence tools to meet development request.
3. Test and document ETL code, report and tool products.
4. Resolves system issues and responds to suggestions for improvements. Refer complex issues to more experienced staff.
5. Responsible for communicating and monitoring compliance with existing practices.
6. Analyze business requirements and work with client areas to produce functional specifications for use as reference in creation of the reporting and analytical solutions.
7. Maintain existing business reporting and analytical solutions by providing production support for troubleshooting and regular processing needs.
8. Develop and maintain relationships with business customers to identify and develop additional analytic and reporting capabilities.
9. Documenting the results of analysis and workflows as well as obtaining sign-off from the client.
10. Manage change requests related to the project and adjust plans and schedules to meet the deadlines.
11. Train and assist users with use of the business intelligence toolset.
12. Provide guidance in the creation of reporting and analytical solutions.
Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
1. Bachelors in Computer Science, equivalent degree, or related course work in systems or computer programming. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
2. (1-3) years’ experience with Microsoft BI Platform (SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, Integration, Reporting, and Analysis tools
3. Exhibit excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to find creative solutions to solve problems while staying within practice guidelines.
4. Demonstrated experience in designing basic reporting instruments, dashboards and other solutions using BI tools (semantic layer, analytics, dashboards, report definitions
5. Experience with data warehouse design and application.
6. Sound understanding of business intelligence best practices, relational data structures, dimensional data modeling, and data warehouse and reporting techniques.
7. Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to a wide variety of audiences.
8. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point and Access.
