Job Title: BI ETL Developer
Location: Hammonton, NJ – F2F Interview
Duration: 6+ Months
Position Responsibilities
Design and develop enterprise and departmental business intelligence, data warehousing and reporting solutions.
Work with business users to Analyzes source data feeds, establish reporting and analytic requirements.
Translate business requirements into ETL and report specifications.
Develop and implement ETL processes, reports and queries in support of business analytics.
Develop and implement interactive analytic reports and dashboards.
Provide technical and business knowledge support to the team.
Compile ad-hoc data and report requests.
Ensure effective communication of user requirements.
Responsible for custom development efforts and major enhancements to COTS applications bundled with complex DB Objects like Stored Procedures, Custom Functions and Triggers for both Data Warehouse and application development.
Performance tuning of DB Objects, ETL and SSRS Reports.
Define technical solutions ensuring consideration for system stability, performance, and ongoing maintainability
Design, code and test client-server and web-based applications across each layer of the .NET framework, including user interface, forms, business logic, and integration with internal and external systems
Using current programming languages and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications.
Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
Convert legacy reports to modern technologies using Microsoft BI platform.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of business needs from both technical and business perspectives
Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in IT or related major.
5+ years related experience.
Excellent knowledge of database design, SQL, data warehousing and Oracle Development Suite (SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, Trigger, Function, Procedure / Package Definition
Strong knowledge of Microsoft BI technology (SSRS, SSIS, SSAS) and Data Stage.
Ability to facilitate meetings and delegate responsibilities.
Proven experience with VB, C#, ASP.NET
