Position : BI Developer(with Dundas)

The BI Developer position will be responsible for the successful delivery and support of high visibility desktop reports, mobile reports and dashboards. The position will involve working with the DBA, Data development, and Data Integration teams in a technical capacity to ensure data is properly loaded into the data warehouse. This role will also work closely with end-users and Business Analysts to evaluate business requirements, and advise on appropriate informative views and dashboards. Responsibilities will also include ticket management and providing proper feedback to end-users regarding reporting system status and/or errors. Dundas BI Developer Tasks and responsibilities • Creates technical designs based on business requirements. • Develop reports based on technical and functional requirements. • Must be able to analyze and solve performance issues. • Provide estimates for end-to-end reporting solution. • Maintain the Business Intelligence Incident Management queue. • Assist others in utilizing the tools to the best of their abilities. • Work Off-hours and weekends as required to meet the needs of the business. • Assists in other areas of the department and company as necessary. Required skills and abilities • Extensive experience in Design, Development, Unit Tests, and Maintenance of reporting objects in Dundas BI 4.0 or Dundas BI 5.0

Agile Development Methodologies.
Application Lifecycle for Dundas BI and SSIS Modeling.
Security concepts and designs, including Analytic Privileges, for Dundas.
Must have experience with relational and dimensional models.
Recommended skills, abilities, and certifications
3+ years of experience with Dundas BI.
5+ years of experience with Data Warehouse.
4+ years of experience with SSIS, SSAS.
3+ years of development experience with agile methodologies.
Cognos, QlikView, and Power BI experience helpful but not mandatory.
