BI Developer (SAS & Informatica) Columbus, OH

Description:

1. Involved in coding, testing, implementing, debugging and documenting the complex BI programs (e.g. Tableau, SAS, Cognos, Informatica, Qlik, etc.

2. Involved in creating proper technical documentation in the work assignments.

3. Understand the business needs and designs programs and systems that match the complex business requirements and records all the specifications that are involved in the development and coding process.

4. Ensures that all the standard requirements have been met and is involved in performing the technical analysis.

5. Responsible for assisting the project manager by compiling information from the current systems, analyzing the program requirements, and ensuring that it meets the specified time requirements.

6. Resolves moderate problems associated with the designed programs and provides technical guidance on complex programming.

7. Assist Tech Lead with program specifications and perform required tests

8. Collaborate with application groups to prepare effective solutions for all programs



Required skills & Experience:

1. 3+ years of experience with using BI tools (e.g. Tableau, SAS, Cognos, Qlik, etc

2. SAS expert with ability to train others in SAS

3. Understand of data warehousing design and development best practices.

4. Understand BI design and development best practices.

5. Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting and collaborating with developers, analysts, and business staff throughout the organization.

6. Ability to express complex technical information in a user- friendly language and style; present information effectively in ne-on-one, and small group settings, including executive management.

7. Ability to communicate clearly in writing to document data requirements and translate into technical solutions.

8. Understand the importance of maintaining the physical and technical security and privacy of protected health information (PHI)
