JOB DESCRIPTION

The job holder participates in the development of strategies for reporting and metric development, in line with the overall IBI services and EBIS strategy (partnering with ODW, PDW, QRM & IT on platform selection) and optimizing the platform’s usage across GCDO.

The job holder shall contribute to the maintenance and optimization of the reporting and metrics platform, ensuring that the platform is meeting the requirements of customers across GCDO and is compliant with applicable regulations. The job holder will be responsible for systems inspection readiness and provide expertise as necessary for FDA and other health authority inspections.

The job holder shall contribute to initiatives to yield faster and more effective incident management, efficient change management services. In his/her area of responsibility, the job holder will contribute to creation of a continuous improvement framework with respect to systems deployment, life cycle management and enhancements supported by greater partnerships with suppliers, CRO partners and industry user groups.

The job holder shall have technical expertise in the report building and metrics space, and experience gained through supporting diverse and complex business processes, and associated systems infrastructures.

The job holder shall contribute, as a member of the report building team, to the active maintenance and continuous improvement of the reporting environment supporting GCDO business management.

1. Facilitate integrated reporting and metrics
The job holder shall contribute to the setting of BI approach, aligned with the vision of Integrated BI Services & EBIS strategy and business needs. They shall work to optimize related systems infrastructure by working with other EBIS teams, GCDO IT, external partners, and vendors.

The job holder shall participate in the optimization of user management, content management, performance management, and lifecycle management related to reporting and metrics in alignment with the direction set by the EBIS Shared Services team.

The jobholder contributes to the prioritization of system deployment for platforms facilitating Data Quality Management, Risk Based Monitoring, Integrated Reporting and Metrics to Maximize value for GCDO.
He/she supports the process for removing obsolete legacy systems to streamline and align all platforms and systems.

Jobholder works with business owners to develop and deliver reports and metrics such as, but not limited to:
Compliance tracking and measurement
Performance measurement (sponsor and site)
Quality measurement (sponsor and site)
Trial progress tracking
SAE reporting
EDC operational reporting
Ad hoc reporting
Reports and exports for partners and 3rd parties
Trending and insights
Medical Review reporting

Focus on Continous Improvement
The job holder contributes to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, with respect to the integrated BI systems infrastructure to support Integrated Reporting and Metrics and optimize the user experience across GCDO and with internal and external partners.

He/she collaborates with other EBIS teams to continuously improve and harmonize approaches to system validation and level 1/2/3 support.

This position reports to Integrated BI Services Associate Director or Manager, Integrated BI Services.

The job holder will aid the team in reaching their potential as an organization by contributing to the support of the team whilst embracing the CREDO and leadership principles within GCDO.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Describe the minimum knowledge, skill and ability requirements for the position. Include any degrees or certifications which are required and/or desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or Computer Science is required.

Individual should have a relevant bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience working within BI and/or Data Warehouse platforms covering clinical development in the Pharma and/or Life Sciences sector(s), with at least 1 year directly working with matrixed teams.

Other relevant experiences and skills may be considered by the hiring manager when considering the candidate’s eligibility.

Experience with Database and ETL, integrated data management is preferred.

Proven track record in delivering system implementations yielding a positive ROI for organizations.
Previous experience of working with reporting / dash boarding software

This position requires expert knowledge of multiple cross-functional eClinical systems, industry trends, industry guidelines and regulations, and best practices. Expert understanding of GCP, ICH, and 21 CFR Part 11 is required.
