BI, Seeking a Business Intelligence Data Analyst for the Business Services Organization''s Business Analytics team located in Maplewood, MN.
Duration 7+months with possible extension
The scope of responsibilities will focus on analyzing data structures, data mapping, prototyping, corporate goals and initiatives as they relate to Sales and Marketing,
Primary Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop a detailed understanding of the Business Transformation data structures, scope, processes, and change impacts for the BSO Business Analytics organization
Assist in identifying gaps in business information, gather requirements to define the gaps, and create appropriate reports and solutions to address them
Guide new reports through client''s validation and certification process
Perform assigned system testing for retrofit functionality, system updates and new releases
Coordination of activities and information between corporate and BSO teams
Become an expert with sales reporting, Point-of-Sale (POS) data, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) information, and other data sources
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor''s degree or higher from an accredited university
Minimum of two (2) years of combined experience as an analyst with a data-driven sales and/or marketing analytics organization
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong technical SQL data capabilities (Teradata, MS-SQL)
Comfortable navigating complex data structures to isolate key conditions or for data mining purposes
Experience developing and/or editing SAP BusinessObjects WebIntelligence reports
Experience with SAP and the entire SAP Business Intelligence suite (BusinessObjects WebIntelligence, Universe development, Design Studio, Lumira)
Proven expertise with Microsoft Excel functionality (e.g. VLookup, Sumif, Subtotal, conditional formatting, formulas, macros, advanced charting, pivot tables and reporting)
Highly proficient with other Microsoft Office tools including PowerPoint, Word, Access, SharePoint and OneNote
Project management and requirements definition experience
Strong written and oral communications skills
Ability to manage frequent change, ambiguity, and multiple simultaneous priorities
