Job Description:
Job Summary: Business Intelligence (BI) Architect - responsible for supporting the strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence applications.
Job Duties:
Hands on skills.
Hadoop analytics.
Deep Infrastructure and database level understanding is required.
Identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
Ensure the use of business intelligence applications enhance business decision making capabilities.
Attend and participate in department and team meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in computer/management information systems or related field
Experience with systems currently in use: SQL, ETLs, Data Warehousing, Some visualization tools - Tableau expertise is not mandatory but added advantage.
Experience Required
10+ years of total IT experience.
Requires at least 7+ years of relevant architectural experience
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Should be able to think through should be able to challenge BI landscape understanding Tableau / Python - R Level of experience to guide the team.
Understanding of general programming concepts and practices, experience with Python Understanding of programming tools and language
Ability to read/understand Programming code Good problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to analyze data and develop logical solutions.
Clear and effective written and oral communication skills, Good listening skills
Good time planning and organization skills
Ability to write documentation in a clear and concise manner
Ability to communicate technical and complex information to non-technical users to discern and meet their needs.
Ability to work with limited supervision and take initiative to complete work projects
