3 important skills he should have:
(1) Oracle administration
(2) plsql coding
(3) frontend knowledge(tableau)
Need Oracle/ SAP experiences both.
Here is the JD for BI Lead:
Have BI technology experience across multiple technologies (SAP & Oracle is a must) as lead architect and managing projects.
Provide insight to upcoming technologies, cloud solutions, best practices and lead the technology path.
Have completed 4-5 full scale implementations in BI space. Experience leading them (preferably SAP & Oracle)
Can drive multiple projects together, get regular updates on status and shares it with leadership.
Basic knowledge on Resource planning across multiple projects and technologies (preferably SAP & Oracle)
Identifies and reports risks with the mitigation plan along with overall guidance.
Very good knowledge on power point to create ad-hoc slide decks.
