Responsibilities
Perform architecture design, data modeling, and implementation of business intelligence platforms and analytics applications
Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical business and executive leaders
Lead teams with a variety of backgrounds, including both technical and business focused roles
Assist with scoping, pricing, architecting, and selling large project engagements
Analyze latest technologies and their innovative applications in both business intelligence analysis and new service offerings; bring these insights and best practices
Technical Experience
Data warehouse and data mart design and implementation
Deep understanding of the Kimball methodology for data warehousing
Data modeling of relational and dimensional databases
Extensive hands-on experience developing analytical and reporting platforms using Microsoft SQL Server tools: SSIS, SSRS, SSAS
Hands-on experience implementing visualization tools and semantic layer technologies such as Power BI, Tableau, SSRS, QlikView, OLAP
Highly skilled in T-SQL querying
Continuous delivery and deployment using Agile Methodologies
Exposure to cloud platform technologies such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, as well as Big Data tools and technologies is desired
Exposure to unstructured and semi-structured data techniques and processes is desired
Minimum Requirements
Experience should contain 5 years of experience on architecture among these environments: data warehouse / data marts, business intelligence, and big data
3+ years of consulting experience desired
3+ years of experience with on-premises Microsoft BI Tools, including SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
Experience in architecture and implementation of large and complex projects
Ability to incorporate new technologies and concepts into practice in real world scenarios
Demonstrated ability to communicate highly technical concepts in business terms and articulate business value of business intelligence platforms
