Responsibilities:
- Develop business intelligence and analytic solutions. Use data visualization software (e.g., SAP BO) and data modeling tools (e.g., SQL, SAP HANA, Impala, Hive) to analyze and communicate complex data and information clearly and efficiently to users.
- Develop and maintain proficiency with advanced analytic and database tools, Hadoop data lake,
- Should be able to write user stories, validation scenarios, acceptance criteria’s etc., and execute projects using Agile methodologies.
- Understand and assist in the development of reporting, analysis and visualization of business data, metrics and measures in order to allow staff to align and track against overall business strategies, goals and objectives, drive innovation, insight and decision making.
- Maintain data model documents, templates, or other reusable BI assets.
- Support existing data models and provide clarifications to business on the existing BI reports or data.
- Serve on interdepartmental project teams for new application implementations, ensuring data standards are consistent with the overall data warehouse strategy.
- Collaborates with developers, stakeholders and subject-matter experts to establish technical vision and analyze trade-offs between usability and performance needs.
Job Requirements:
- 7-10 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or comparable experience.
- Proficient experience using SQL, SAP HANA & any of the Visualization tool
- 1-2 years data analysis and business intelligence experience working with BI suites.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Analytical acumen necessary to interpret and manage data.
- Demonstrated ability to work with technical and non-technical staff to identify user requirements and translate them into technology-based solutions.
- Ability to understand complex data interrelationships across multiple departments and their respective systems and processes.
- Experience with metadata management and documentation.
- Ability to work with complex confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgement.
- Excellent written/oral communication skills in order to present findings to all levels of management.
- Possess organizational skills to handle several projects simultaneously, accommodate shifting priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Ability and drive to stay current with and report on rapidly evolving analytics technologies
