BI Admin
Sunnyvale, CA
ThoughtSpot BI Administrator is responsible for installation, configurations, server integration & customization, operations, maintenance of ThoughtSpot BI server infrastructure to ensure optimal use of systems. Manage security of reporting and analytics tools which include upgrades, work closely with the product vendor for bug fixes, etc.
Experience with one or more database technologies (Teradata, Oracle, Vertica)
Experience with one one or more BI Tools (Tableau, Business Objects, Cognos) Administration and Support.
Experience working on VMWare vSphere Hypervisor environment
Experience developing with one ore more Business Intelligence tools and/or OLAP tools (Business Objects, Tableau, SAS, etc
Experience with BI Tool environments, upgrades, and system maintenance
Knowledge and understanding of database theory and practice, database structures, query languages, and concepts.
Backup/Restore and Disaster Recovery Setup
Experience in security administration.
Automate server maintenance, proactive monitoring
Troubleshoot performance issues, investigates and recovers from system failures and works proactively to prevent reoccurence.
Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, maintain, and conform to security administration standards
Ability to analyze, monitor and trouble shoot data and data loading processes to ensure data integrity.
Proficient analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and anomalies.
Aptitude and interest in working with complex situations/problems, systems, and processes.
Strong communication skills (written and oral Demonstrated commitment to team work and customer service.
