Job Description:
This position will design cloud-based solutions for the Azure cloud. In addition to envisioning solutions, this position will be communicating their proposed design to our development team, integrate their feedback and ensure they are implemented correctly. This position will also be responsible for participating in our Devops adoption, ensuing we have release pipelines to deploy our code, Azure Resource Manager templates for resource deployment and that CI Builds and automated testing is occurring.
Skills:
At least five years of experience developing applications using C# and JavaScript, using well established development patterns and norms such as the SOLID development principles and Azure cloud architecture development patterns.
At least five years of experience with SQL Server, at least three years of experience with SQL Azure and one year of experience with Cosmo DB preferred.
At least three years of experience using current versions of Entity Framework.
At least three years of experience working with VS Team Services online as a code repository ask tracking and leveraging automated tests, CI builds and release pipelines.
At least two years of experience working on a SCRUMAgile development team.
When envisioning a cloud architecture, the ability to select the correct cloud resources so that the best balance of cost, security and supportability are met along with the expected functionality of the application.
The ability to clearly communicate with the team and provide guidance surrounding the appropriate use of cloud resources and operational procedures for cloud resources using Power Shell and Resource Manager (ARM Templates
The ability to provide governance, identity management, security guidance to the team and the organization.
