Job Description
Skills Required:
5+ years’ experience in architecture design/implementation of large scale commercial applications
Experience migrating large enterprise applications to Azure
Exposure to multiple technology domains net, Java OSS)
3+ years experience implementing solutions on Azure is required!
MUST HAVE In-depth, hands-on Azure experience including VM, Networking, Azure PaaS, Azure storage, Azure SQL and Azure automation /other automation tools (i.e. Terraform)
Excellent understanding of DevOps tool chains as it applies to AWS
WAN Networking experience, DNS and Azure connectivity options (i.e. ExpressRoute)
Presentation skills; high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences.
Strong written communication skills; this role will require the creation of content such as design documents, recommendations and other written deliverables.
High level of comfort communicating effectively across internal and external organizations and interacting with senior client stakeholders
Demonstrable understanding of cloud security principle, implementation and tooling
Assessing applications for cloud migration readiness
Making recommendations for cloud migration
Azure Solution architecture & infrastructure design
Implementing Azur solutions through AWS console and other tools
Automation of Azure infrastructure provisioning
Provide comprehensive status reports in collaboration with program management
Leading the technical team (onsite+offshore) in executing cloud migration projects. Including technical leads, engineers, testers
Nice to have:
Awareness of AWS cloud services
Database administration experience (Oracle/MSSQL/PostGre/MySQL)
Education:
· Bachelor’s degree or higher
