Azure Automation Engineer Job Description:
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in designing and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure platform and experience in workload migrations.
Strong expertise in building Azure cloud native enterprise scale applications and moving applications from on-premises to cloud environments.
Strong understanding of different attributes for cloud application availability, scalability and ability to propose optimized design for cloud.
Deep knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Azure PaaS features.
Hands on experience on Azure Services (Web Apps, API Apps, Logic App, Azure storages, queues, event hubs
Proven experience in migrating on premise applications to Azure PaaS and Azure IaaS.
Good knowledge of Cloud-to-Cloud and Cloud-to-Ground architecture models.
Responsible for the development of documentation and maintenance of Software Architectures.
Coordinates and participates in project management reviews and compliance audits.
Develops, maintains and unit tests code by utilizing software development environments and programming languages in order to implement design and satisfy allocated requirements.
Performs requirements assessment and provides a technical interface to change approval meetings technical reviews.
Participates in internal peer reviews.
Technical Proficiencies and Desired Skills by Category
Experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience with CI/CD best practices and tooling (using Jenkins for build preparation and deployment
Good knowledge of Azure IaaS (VMs, VNET, NSG Rules, Subnets etc) and Creating, deploying and scaling applications on Azure PaaS
Hands-on knowledge on Azure ARM and PowerShell.
Implementation knowledge on CI/CD pipe line creation (Git,Jenkins,artifactory and build tools
Experience developing on Linux & HP/UX platform.
In-depth experience with any backend language (Java, Node.js, .NET, etc
Experience designing, building, implementing, and maintaining RESTful APIs.
Experience with cloud-native software development best practices (microservices, managed services, SOA, etc.
Experience with NoSQL datastores (Azure Postgres, AWS DynamoDB, MongoDB, Hadoop, etc
Experience with Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Experience with data workflow implementations (ETL, data models, etc
Experience with JSON parsing.
Experience in XML.
Experience building and implementing monitoring of data processing workflows.
