Location: SFO, CA/ Chicago, IL/ Atlanta, GA/ Plano, TX
Full time/ Permanent
Qualifications
Basic
· Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
· At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
Preferred
6+ or more years of large scale distributed software design and development experience
Working experience in Azure IaaS, PaaS, storage, network and database. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in defining and implementing cloud/Azure based large solutions.
Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences
Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with IT decision makers and senior executives and growing cloud consumption share in medium to large accounts.
Experience in assessing applications for cloud adoption
Microsoft certified Azure certifications
Experience in implementing using Azure PaaS services like web sites, web/worker roles, SQL Azure database, storage, service bus.
Should be comfortable working in a start up like environment.
Experience and understanding of security requirements for cloud.
Experience in defining highly available, DR solutions in Azure
Experience in migrating large on premise workloads (windows and non-windows) to Azure.
Experience in defining cloud strategy for enterprise
Experience in using agile methodologies in implementing Azure solutions.
Ability to work independently
Prior work experience in a Consulting/Architecture position within a software and/or services company
Excellent proactive analytical and problem solving skills
