Azure Application Engineer- On behalf of our client in the Finance/ Real Estate Sector, Procom services is looking for (1) Azure Application Developer for client located near the Galleria.
The Application Engineer will design, develop, test and implement the ETL data pipelines in the Azure cloud architecture. You will integrate the SQL data warehouse platform and create the curated enterprise data models. You will play a critical role in building the next generation data and analytics platform, to support the rapidly growing and dynamic business demand. You will also have an immediate influence on decision making of senior leaders, including Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Managing Directors.
The successful candidate must have 5+ years of Azure Developer and Cloud Architecture experience.
This person should be able to understand clients business use cases and design and build solutions using various azure
services. Client is open to someone with less experience that has the right mindset and drive to learn. It would be very
helpful (but not required) for them to have experience with data movement into an azure environment, and operationalizing python data science models. Client is looking for the right candidate with excellent communication experience, teamwork skills, and the drive to learn and grow.

Main Responsibilities
Interfacing with data scientists and business intelligence (BI) analysts, gathering requirements and developing new datasets in data platform.
Building and migrating the complex ETL pipelines from on premise SQL servers to Azure cloud.
Identifying the data quality issues to address them immediately.
Extracting and combining data from various data sources.
Modelling data and metadata to support data science and business intelligence initiatives.
Experiences Required
Expert working knowledge of creating ETL pipelines in Azure Data Factory (ADF
Knowledge of integrating other systems, including Azure tools such as Azure Data Lake Storage. (ADLS), Azure SQL
Database and Data Warehouse.
Experience with designing and optimizing data models and database schemas.
Experience with building data products incrementally and integrating and managing datasets. from multiple sources,
such as on premise SQL Server.
Experience with Informatica preferred.
Experience of implementing next generation data and analytics platforms on Azure cloud preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
Advanced Degree and Microsoft Azure Certification is a plus.
