Position : Axway Suite Technical Specialist : B2B MFT
Location : Fort worth Texas
Duration : 6+ Months
Must Have Skills (Top 3 technical skills only
1. Axway suite of products - Axway B2Bi (Gateway Interchange + Integrator), Secure Relay, Sentinel/Strong Linux (including shell scripting) and core Java experience
2. Strong Linux (including shell scripting) and core Java experience
3. Messaging Standards: EDI (X12, EDIFACT), XML, IDOC and various flat file formats
Nice to have skills (Top 2 only)
1. Experience working with agile methodologies
2. Good verbal/written communication skills
Top 3 responsibilities you would expect the subcon to shoulder and execute*:
1. Architecture, design and development for B2B/MFT on Axway suite of products - Axway B2Bi (Gateway Interchange + Integrator), Secure Relay, Sentinel
2. Co-ordinate with offshore team and manage their activities/deliverables.
3. Co-ordinate with external trading partners and various internal application/infrastructure teams as required
Primary Responsibilities and activities:
Architecture, design and development for B2B/MFT on Axway suite of products - Axway B2Bi (Gateway Interchange + Integrator), Secure Relay, Sentinel
Provide subject matter expertise for various aspects of B2B implementation
Messaging Standards: EDI (X12, EDIFACT), XML, IDOC and various flat file formats
b. Communications: FTP, SFTP, AS2, MQ and Web Services/API
c. Security planning and management: Working with enterprise security and network/firewall teams as required and manage various aspects of encryption, certificates, firewall rules and DMZ administration
d. Mapping and Translation (Axway Mapping Services)
3. End-to-end Implementation of Integration solutions including custom frameworks and processors.
4. Solution design for automation, technical proof-of-concepts, integration patterns and new technology/feature assimilation
5. Creation of functional and technical specifications
6. Involvement in design and maintenance of infrastructure required for the B2B integration layer – IBM MQ, DB2, Disk infrastructure, VM and allied hardware.
7. Performance engineering and tuning for Axway B2Bi
8. Second level production support and technical issue resolution for Axway suite of products
9. Open, track and manage all support cases with Axway product support
10. Liaise with Axway Product management, R&D groups and technical teams as required for various issues, fixes and new features
11. Assist with project/sprint planning activities and estimation. Manage task breakdown/allocation for development team.
12. Co-ordinate with offshore team and manage their activities/deliverables.
13. Review and validate developed code and components (Java inline processors, translation maps, scripts)
14. Co-ordinate with external trading partners and various internal application/infrastructure teams as required
15. Handle product installation, patches and upgrade for Axway suite of products.
Other skills required for this role:
1. Strong Linux (including shell scripting) and core Java experience
2. Good verbal/written communication skills
3. Good SQL skills
4. Experience working with agile methodologies
