Position: Avaya Voice Engineer
Location: Wake Forest, NC

Job Description :

Experience with Avaya voice products
(Ex: Avaya Aura Communication Manager; someone who maybe worked with Avaya in the past but not now is great too!)
Experience configuring and troubleshooting VoIP communication and VoIP network equipment maintenance.
Experience with CUCM, SIP, and/or Unity (not all are hard requirements)
Ability to work all shifts including weekends & holidays in a 7x24x365 environment
Avaya Cert/CCNA preferred (needed to be able to convert full-time)

Daily Responsibilities:
Monitor for Communication Manager (CM) Minor / Major alarms and out-of-service trunks
Troubleshoot and report ISDN circuit and analog trunk (i.e. Loop-start; Ground-start) troubles to various carriers
Troubleshoot network connectivity to Media Gateways and IP phones
Modular Messaging and CM Messaging subscriber password resets
Monitor State of Texas ticket queue (WHD) and assign to appropriate support groups
