Automation Tester
Location : Michigan
Duration : 6 Months to Hire
Required Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in a quantitative discipline (e.g. statistics, mathematics, economics, finance, physics, etc or equivalent experience
· 6+ years of Software Quality Assurance experience with a focus on ETL testing
· Solid understanding of principles, practices, and procedures of Software Quality Assurance
· Experience implementing automated testing on 2+ projects
· Experience using Java, Python, Shell Scripting, or another language as part of test automation
· Experience in developing complex SQL queries and scripts to validate database tables and reports
· Familiarity with data warehousing methodology, data modeling, ETL, databases, and business intelligence
· Analytical and problem solving skills.
· Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast moving environment.
· Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
· Experience with continuous integration / automated regression testing
· Experience converting manual test cases to automated tests
· Work onsite at the required at the client work location
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with the Robot testing framework
· Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, ODI, SAP Data Services, SAP BW/HANA, Datastage (ODI strongly preferred)
· Experience using Jira and Confluence
· Experience working in an Agile environment
· Financial Services Industry experience
