Responsibilities:
Design, develop and implementing automation test framework/scripts for large scale multi-tiered web applications running on desktop and mobile.
Write and execute automated tests using Selenium, Cucumber and Java
Adhere to development coding standards and recommend continuous improvement of processes, tools and methodologies for Automation.
Applies advanced troubleshooting to automation system problems.
Work closely with the Development team to insure the effectiveness and quality of the components and systems developed
Manage test reporting, defect resolution, results analysis and metrics.
Ability to work independently and resolve issues.
Develop in - depth system and application knowledge for higher test quality and coverage.
Perform all testing activities for initiatives across one or more assigned projects, utilizing processes, methods, metrics and software that ensure the quality, reliability and systems safety and security.
Skill Level:
Test automation experience.
Solid understanding of web development and related technologies - HTML, Javascript, CSS and AJAX
Strong Selenium experience writing complex functions, components using Java and Cucumber.
Strong knowledge with TestNG, Maven.
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Experience working in a CI / CD environment
Experience with Agile methodologies utilizing JIRA
Experience working in a DevOps model
Hands on experience with testing and automating web and mobile applications
Hands-on experience with source control tools like Git, BitBucket, Stash.
Hands on experience on test automation of APIs (SOAP and REST services)
Proficient with developer tools and IDEs, such as Eclipse and git / github for developing on the Java stack
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
