Automation Test Lead
Loc: Monterey Park, CA
Fulltime only
Key Responsibilities include:
Manage test automation resources.
Ensure successful delivery of automation services to project and support teams.
Define and improve automation framework.
Manage test automation resources.
Assist in the definition and documentation of test strategies.
Increase the productivity for scripters by implementing new scripting approaches and methodologies
Define and document automation strategies for new projects and existing systems
Define automation processes, standards, guidelines and checklists
Interview and select automation resources.
Determine if manual and/or automated test tools should be used to execute test cases.
Provide test planning and support the overall automation testing efforts
Ensure test scripts are documented, reported and tracked in HP Quality Center or appropriate tools.
Provide automation test reports and statistics and ensure accurate and complete documentation.
Execute automation test scripts, log defects and provide defect status reports.
Create and implement automation and performance testing roadmaps.
Provides metrics to quantify the value of automated testing efforts.
Review automation design, test cases and scripts.
Prepare and publish regression automation coverage matrix.
Review and approve automation testing artifacts and/or deliverables
Ensuring transparency of testing efforts.
Requirements/Qualifications
A bachelor''s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field is highly preferred; however, equivalent work experience will not be overlooked
2+ years of experience as an automated testing architect – Good to have.
Extensive experience in all aspects of Automation testing using Selenium, QTP, Appium, and visual testing tools.
Good experience in JAVA and VB.
Exposed to large Projects +2000 test script.
Experience in working with onshore and offshore resources.
Experience in the following testing practices:
Designing, building and executing automated testing frameworks and automation scripts
Administrator and user experience with Selenium and QTP.
Designing, building and executing automated testing frameworks and automation scripts
Administrator and user experience with Selenium, QTP and Appium.
Experience in Functional automated Testing, automated visual testing, and End to End automated testing.
