Job Description:
Role- Automation Tester
Creates and executes various testing documentation (including plans, conditions and scripts) based on technical and user requirements:
Writes and maintains test automation. Tests software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. Performs regression testing. Ensures adequate product testing, in accordance with established standards and requirements, prior to implementation. Maintains Test Script Library and test results. Documents problems and coordinates resolutions. Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations. Maintains and develops business knowledge and customer relationships. Performs other duties as assigned.
5+ year’s experience in Quality Assurance of multi-tiered web applications
Experience using defect tracking tool (Rally, Quality Center)
Experience with hands on test automation (Java, C#, Cucumber, Selenium)
Familiar with relational databases and client-server concepts
Experience using xpath or css to identify objects •Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
Knowledge of computer development software life cycle technologies and processes
Experience with agile methodology, continuous integration and test driven development
Problem solving and attention to detail.
