Job Description :
Experience in mainframe z/OS Systems Programming with an emphasis in communications server and related software:
Support base network products – Communications Server (VTAM,TCP/IP)
Provide Level 2 problem determination in regards to mainframe communications server issues and customer connection issues.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues – TCP/IP, APPN, Enterprise Extender, SNA, X25
Capturing network trace and analysis the same, for network outage and manage TCP/IP profile datasets
Changes and Fixes on OSA Configuration
SSMF Support Activities
Support File Transfer Products/Protocols – Connect: Direct, SFTP, FTPS, Inter-Pel’
Configuration and administration of network related 3rd party system software and IBM Z/OS mainframe network software like Connect Direct , Netview.
Support LRS printing products – VPS, DRS, VMCF, Session Manager products (Teleview, TPX, CL/Supersession)
Disaster Recovery Testing and Support Disaster Recovery activities via hotline
