Job Description – Senior Software QA Analyst

Senior QA will be responsible for planning, designing and implementing QA as a new discipline within our existing development environment. The right candidate has a strong passion for automation and test-driven development and is well-versed in writing test plans, identifying automation opportunities and working side-by-side with key business and technical stakeholders. The Senior Software QA will proactively contribute, offer recommendations, and identify risks and solutions associated with proposed or existing software applications strategies.

In short, we want you to build and then run a robust QA dept.

Job Responsibilities

Define the testing strategy and policies for the dev team.
Implement a robust test plan from the ground up.
Select and manage a continuous integration platform.
Select, implement and manage automated testing tools (such as Selenium
Define test strategies, test scripting, and test approaches for performance and automation events.
Work with Developers to maintain a culture of Test Driven Development, training and coaching team mates through knowledge gaps.
Ensure every issue has a test plan.
Able to participate in User Workshops, delivering test plans as part of the definition of “dev ready” for user stories.

Requirements

Excellent English comprehension and documentation skills.
Prior experience with test-driven development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, writing & running test plans and QA reporting.
Familiarity with software testing (unit, integration, functional, regression
Knowledge of testing automation platforms, CI platforms, etc.
Excitement to learn in a fast-paced IT environment.
Outstanding time management, prioritization, and independence.
Previous experience working with Agile methodologies, preferably Scrum.
