Title: Automation QA Tester [XTGL_29432]
Location: Newton, MA
Type: 12 + Months Contract
Description:
Below are some of the main responsibilities for this position:
Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineering leadership to define overall quality strategy.
Lead testing efforts and contribute hands-on to ongoing releases of our flagship product in conjunction with onshore and offshore engineering teams.
Drive the definition and adoption of quality best practices, tools and frameworks.
Establish quality KPIs and drive product quality and engineering velocity.
Required:
7+ years of Quality Assurance and Software Testing experience for web-based applications
3+ years’ experience in test plan development, functional test automation and performance testing
Experience with a Web Service testing tool (ideally SoapUI)
SQL programming experience
Some scripting experience with Javascript, Python, Groovy or a similar scripting language
Unix and/or Linux experience
Preferred:
Windows experience
SSH experience
Any networking experience
Experience with JMeter, LoadMeter and/or LoadUI
