Job Description :
This position will serve as cloud automation engineer using Amazon services and APIs.This automation engineer will play a critical role on this new project responsible for coding enterprise class automation services. These services will be treated as any other enterprise development project, requiring version control, automated test cases, and proper elevation. A high degree of security and encryption is foundational to developing the services. Integration with AD, designing for role separation, and proper logging will play a large role in the proper development of these enterprise services. Qualifications: 1. Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience 2. Minimum 3 years developer or systems analyst experience 3. Strong written and oral communication skills 4. Strong analysis and problem solving skills 5. Strong planning and organizational skills 6. Intermediate knowledge of the following development practices and concepts: •Quality assurance methodology and Inspections •Use case standards •Systems analysis and design techniques •System/subsystem requirements •Libraries, reusable code, and/or object oriented standards •Screen, report, and query design 7. Intermediate knowledge of current versions of the following products: •Microsoft Office Suite •Visio 8. Intermediate knowledge of one or more development tools and programming languages in the SOE/SDE list: •See additional information for the specific requirements for this posting 9. Intermediate knowledge of one or more IT platforms: •See additional information for the specific requirements for this posting 10. Intermediate knowledge of one or more testing tools, performance tools, and scripting languages in the SOE/SDE list, preferred:7. Intermediate level knowledge in re-usable scripting leveraging bash and python8. Knowledge in AWS CloudFormation abstraction layers such as Troposphere or Fugue is preferred but not required9. AWS Certifications are a plus
