REQUIREMENT :


Automation Engineer - Dallas ,TX - 12Plus Months Contract - Prefer “ LOCAL” Candidates if Possible .

* Candidate MUST work with eDataforce W2 *

This position is for one of hospitality clients. Most often the automation engineer will support an Agile / Kanban team, but may work in Waterfall or move to DevOps. Must have good communications skills, work well within a team, able to interact effectively with the development and architecture team, present a good image to the client, including appearance, on-time presence, strong work ethic, good interpersonal skills, etc. The best candidates with have experience with multiple frameworks and be flexible in what they do and how they work.

Job Responsibilities:
Senior level automation tester
Strong automation on last 2-3 projects
Selenium experience
Strong data-driven framework experience
Create test scenarios and test cases from business and functional requirements
Understand and analyze existing test scripts; validate test scripts for completeness
Debug existing scripts and interpret log files for maintenance
Create and execute SQL queries and validate databases using an automation tool
Work closely with developers and testers as needed to create and maintain scripts, and log defects
Prepares test data or works with data analysts to define test data needs
Logs defects with associated documentation using JIRA; works with development team to explain and help resolve defects
Estimate work when needed
Quickly learns and understands existing services that are undergoing upgrades
Maintains complete confidentiality of client business and strategies.
Flexible; willing and able to do manual testing when needed is a plus.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor''s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 5 years of recent experience in automation testing
Hands on automation experience at least 70% in last 2-3 projects
Experienced in web automation testing

Experienced in these tools:
-JIRA
-Bamboo
-Confluence
-GIT
-SharePoint

Generally broad tools experience; able to learn new tools quickly
Experienced with JIRA tool for work assignments and logging defects
Good understanding and hands on experience in Java or Groovy scripting
Strong knowledge in source code management and familiar with Git commands
Experience with continuous integration tool Bamboo
Good understanding of the entire project life cycle, QA methodologies and processes, including Agile, Kanban, and continuous integration methodologies
Must have good organizational skills with ability to think on his/her feet
Knowledgeable in different automation frameworks
Strong, effective interpersonal and communications skills; able to interact professionally with client management, architect, development, and testing team members.
Strong experience with industry-recognized QA estimating tools and techniques.
A self-starter, motivated to take ownership of projects and drive tasks to completion.
Experience with hotel property management systems and reservation systems is a plus
Flexible; willing and able to do what is needed to meet objectives.
