Position: Automated Tester
Location: Suitland, MD
Duration: 12+ months
Candidate must be local to MD, DC or VA
US Citizen only
This position requires 5 years of experience. A BS degree is required.
We have an immediate need for an Automated Tester who will:
Utilize proven experience with various test planning and test execution methods and strong technical skills, analysis, documentation, quality control, and quality assurance.
Build and maintain an Automation framework using UFT.
Develop test strategies, automation scripts, build test data and perform functional, and regression testing.
Be hands-on and work with cross-functional teams.
The candidate must be able to pass a Federal Suitability Check for a position of public trust.
Required Skills:
BS Degree with a minimum of five (5+) years of progressive experience in the area of system development
Must be able to accept a position that requires US citizenship
Must be able to accept a position that requires federal government security clearance
HP QTP - UFT Automation Testing, Test Automation, Web Testing, Application Testing
Experience in descriptive programming, database testing using QTP/UFT
Design and develop & execute test scripts & test cases
Understanding and experience across full system development life cycle in Agile SCRUM
Excellent customer relationship skills, sound business decision-making ability, along with communications and business development experience
Experience with test design, execution, and traceability
Experience with defect management and configuration management process
Candidate should have proven record of strong teamwork, interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, and ability to work well independently and as a team
Desired Skills:
Hands on Experience in Eclipse, Maven and Jenkins would be nice
Be able to independently create an automation framework
Knowledge and progressive hands on experience with testing tools and technologies required to execute various forms of system testing (smoke, regression, performance, etc, especially with data rich internet applications, data quality, and back-end data processing applications
The ideal candidate also will have Federal Government experience
Knowledge and experience in automation testing
