State of Maryland - Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC)
WSSC is looking to immediately augment its Telecom Systems team staff with someone who has skills for assisting with our continuing improvement of the WSSC Audio Visual Systems and our solidifying of our dayto-day operations. This person needs to have intermediate-level experience and knowledge of a wide breadth of technologies as they must be able to perform various complex duties for the Commission’s multi-platform environment. This person will serve both as an architect of solutions, as well as an implementer and troubleshooter. A candidate who has experience with many yet not all of the technologies listed in the duties/responsibilities below may be considered.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist with technology assessments, architectural designs, and implementation planning
Assist with hands-on execution of implementation, migration, maintenance, monitoring, break/fix, and other day-to-day operational tasks
Strong documentation skills for developing, creating, and/or recording support strategies, SLA compliance, SOP’s,
environment architectures, implementation plans, troubleshooting execution, and incident response
Experience integrating existing infrastructure with cloud provided infrastructure augmentation
Provide support within the following technologies
Setup conference rooms prior to meetings:
Connecting laptops, pc''s, and tablets to projector
Setup teleconference calls
Setup Video teleconference calls - be able to operate VTC equipment and troubleshoot connectivity problems.
Setup Webex meetings
Working knowledge of audio mixers and AV control systems, (AMX, Crestron, Polycomm, Lifesize VTC)
Maintain and troubleshoot fixed projectors in conference rooms, (bulb replacement, filter cleaning, picture alignment)
Experience with wireless presentation devices
Experience with remote camera control, video broadcasting console, live streaming video.
