Our expectations from these positions
Presales contribution
Assist Sales, Presales, Delivery Heads in discussions with prospects
Contribute in all activities to deliver quality proposals as needed
Travel to prospect location for meetings as required across US geography
Project level contribution
Till the time specific project is finalized, contribute across different opportunities to establish the relationship with prospects/customers in collaboration with Sales and Delivery stake holders
Work on one or multiple projects as per the requirements
Travel to customer location for meetings as required across US geography
Identify offshore growth opportunities and contribute towards this growth by collaborating with Sales and Delivery stake holders
Processes and Practices to be followed
Report to offshore Project Manager or Delivery Manager or Delivery Head
Follow all company processes
Follow project processes like scheduled meetings, O3, regular progress update to reporting manager, performance review meetings etc
Plan or participate in day-to-day communication with offshore team
Assist offshore team in tasks like clarifying requirements, resolve blockers, change in direction, help communicate customer about upcoming risks and mitigation plans etc.
Provide offshore work visibility to customer by helping in arranging periodic sync-up, demo meetings of offshore team with customer
Periodic status reporting to reporting manager about project, customer updates (growth, risks etc, org level contribution
Conduct knowledge sharing sessions for offshore team
Confirm with reporting manager before making commitments to customer
Other contributions
Represent Harbinger in seminars, events, meet-ups
Roles and Responsibilities
Architect
Engage with prospects and customers to understand business requirements and constraints to define solutions and software architecture to meet functional and non-functional requirements
Take complete ownership of software architecture and quality of one or more products
Ensure use of efficient and effective development and testing methodologies
Carry out design and conduct design reviews
Participate in reviews of other projects
Assist presales team and own the technical approach and estimates of the proposed solution
Contribute to technical blogs, case studies, white papers, webinars, conference presentations etc.
Guide and mentor project teams
Explore new technologies, frameworks, methodologies and disseminate the knowledge with relevant teams
Skills and competencies
At least 2 years of prior experience as Software Architect of enterprise grade software
Expertise in at least one full technology stack
Working knowledge of at least one more technology stack
Expertise in at least 2 major client-side JavaScript frameworks
Experience in at least one leading cloud technology
Expertise in OO design and modeling tools
Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in presales activities
HR Tech domain knowledge is a plus
