Job Description:
Oracle Database
Primary point of contact for all non-SAP database issues.
Will work closely with infrastructure teams (servers, network, etc) to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
Actively manage the performance of the various Oracle databases, including capacity planning and tuning.
Coordinate with other team members to ensure software consistency across the Oracle landscape.
Will participate in the IT Change Management process and validate/approval all Oracle database related changes.
Keeps abreast of new developments and forecasts of future trends in the areas of database technology.
Works with internal and external customers to understand their requirements in order to form a forward-thinking architectural vision for the infrastructure of the Company.
Provide input on, and support new projects affecting the Oracle database landscape.
Engage and interface directly with Oracle as required for product support/questions.
Defines solutions by identifying requirements.

BS Computer Science
