Summary: Responsible for design and development of integrating new data to an existing data warehouse. Ability to understand complex code and optimize code for efficiency. Education/Experience: Associate''s degree in computer science or relevant field - preferred. 7+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2008R2/2012/2014/2016), and all aspects of Software Development (Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, and Documentation) required. Skills and Competencies: Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Must have a strong command of the English language written and oral. Ability to work independently and manage one''s time. Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery. Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue. Knowledge of computer hardware and software. Knowledge of computer development software, such as SQL, Java, J2EE, etc. Detailed knowledge of SSRS and SSIS development. Familiar with Relational Data models, ability to work with large data sets. Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: Modify AML’s existing data warehouse processes to accommodate the necessary changes required to support multiple AML projects. AML’s existing data warehouse is based on customer and account data as well as transactional data. Sourcing is from various data feeds delivered from multiple source systems. Responsibilities include the design and development of various SQL related tasks including SSIS packages and stored procedures for ingestion of new data (customer, account and transaction) to the warehouse. Responsibilities may also include support of the daily SQL jobs and subsequent data delivery to downstream AML systems and other related functions.
