Barrister Global Services Network Inc. is currently looking for a motivated, highly detailed, organized and outgoing individual to support one of our major nationwide clients. The successful applicant should be able to quickly adapt their knowledge to the current IT environment and be able to enhance the current systems in place. They should also possess excellent verbal and written communication skills so as to be understood by technical and non-technical personnel.



Job Summary :

The application packager will convert source media to application packages for delivery through desktop management solutions such as Symantec’s ITMS, Microsoft’s SCCM or IBM’s Big Fix. The right candidate will assume a technical role and will participate in project assessment, software packaging, custom scripting, pilot testing, user acceptance and communication, and remediation activities associated with large scale software deployments. In this position you will need the ability to write technical documentation in the form of test plans, installation plans and incident reviews. You will help solve complex technical issues and develop customized solutions in deploying software applications to a diverse workstation environment.

Responsibilities:

Research and discovery for application requests
Participate in application ,governance discussions
Quality assurance of packaged applications
Manage applications in development and production environments
Break/fix support and end-user interaction.



Requirements:

Experience with AutoIt, VB, XML, C++, Windows Installer MSI), and PowerShell
Scripting and experience with Flexera Admin Studio.
Symantec’s ITMS, Microsoft’s SCCM or IBM’s Big Fix.

Preferred :

Knowledge of ITIL Service Management Framework is desired.
