Systems Integration Application Architect/Developer
Our client is looking for a consultant with solid experience in application architecture, analysis and design, & development of software applications using J2EE/Oracle. Strong skills with the Java platform and software development concepts. This role will be end to end and include translating requirements into software architecture and design. This person must be able to interface effectively with clients as well as other internal team members. In addition to operating at an architectural level, the role may requires some hands on software development.
Develop and deliver innovative software/architecture solutions.
Build a customer-focused relationship with client to identify technical and business challenges, develop architectural specs to meet requirements and derive
the best solution.
Establish an architecture to optimize an existing architecture and associated processes.
Working with internal and external customer technical teams to establish technical requirements and restrictions.
Identify, define, and communicate technical decisions, concepts, and interrelationships within a complex system.
Define and document the architectural model & design plans and estimates in sufficient detail for developers and other stakeholders.
Ability to prototype technical integration solutions.
May perform hands on development and mentor internal/external development teams.
Demonstrate a high level of subject matter expertise in IT infrastructure, technical architecture design, technology platforms, and architecture evaluation and review.
Drive working sessions with client to ensure expectations and direction are aligned and timelines are being met.
Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing large scale, integration pointed architectural plans for complex, customer engagements.
Review client''s existing and planned systems environment and architecture, and collaborate with client architects and Core experts to design System Integration architecture.
Participate in Internal /External Technical Design sessions and Design Reviews.
Communicate with business users and project teams including project managers, architects, and developers both internal and client facing.
Must have a B.S. in Information Systems/Computer Science or related area of study.
Masters’ Degree a plus
Tech Requirements
10+ years of overall software development experience - working for a Product Development Company in the Enterprise Application Space (specifically in the integration space preferred)
5+ years Java experience
5+ years Systems Integration Experience
Solid Java skills with strong understanding of OOD and modelling
Solid understanding of Java/JEE - Experience with Oracle PL/SQL is a plus
Experience with JSP, Servlets, Web Services, REST Services, XML, JMS, JDBC, EJB, Spring, HTML, DHTML and JavaScript
Experience with WebSphere, WebLogic, JBOSS, or similar application server implementation
Experience with Legacy System Integration is a plus
Experience: At least 10 years of experience in the DOMAIN.
