Application Developer Job Details
Perform application system development, maintenance, and production support under the direction
of the RTS & SCADA Engineering Manager.
Work collaboratively with other RTS and SCADA Engineering staff in proposing and evaluating strategic
improvements to both the technical and functional application environments;
Design, develop and test delivered solutions working with RTS and SCADA Engineering team members.
Evaluate and provide estimates for stakeholder support, service, and development requests.
Responsible for the accuracy and quality of the delivered solution working with the internal stakeholders.
Support enterprise analytic platforms such as OSISoft PI.
Participate in developing, reviewing, and maintaining technical documentation.
Ensure compliance with all departmental, corporate and regulatory policies and requirements.
Effectively work and interact with team members and internal stakeholders.
Commit to being a strong, competent, proactive and engaged team member.
Work to continuously expand one’s knowledge of company business, strategy, goals and objectives.
Application Developer Mandatory Skills
Have a minimum of 6 years in responsive web applications development environments.
Be proficient with common software development tools and platforms such as C#, HTML5, Bootstrap, Angular and the MVC design pattern.
Experience with Windows 2012/2016, SQL Server and IIS.
Experience delivering system analysis & design documentation.
Plus: working knowledge of OSISoft PI Historian specifically PI Data Archive system and point configuration
Plus: working knowledge of PI Asset Framework (AF)
Plus: working knowledge of delivering web applications in Cloud environments (Azure & AWS)
Travel up to 50% within the US.
