Application Developer

We are looking for a UPK Developer/Training Specialist to help create online training, for changes and transitions to essential business processes and/or technical changes to the TeamWorks (PeopleSoft) application. This person will focus on creating Online (UPK) Training for our TeamWorks (PeopleSoft) Financials and Human Capital Management (HCM) applications.

The UPK Developer/Training Specialist will also work with the TeamWorks Team to identify, create and deliver specific training as required, which may be either technical – relating to the TeamWorks systems, or skill-based – relating to the competencies required to perform the individual job functions (e.g. Negotiation skills, Facilitation skills etc.

Roles and responsibilities:

Create Online Training packages using Oracle’s User Productivity Kit (UPK) for TeamWorks (PeopleSoft) changes and updates
Work in a team environment with TeamWorks (PeopleSoft) content owners to ensure training content is accurate
Work with the project team in the formulation of particular plans and activities to support project implementation, using a variety of training media
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for the purpose of serving as a liaison and resource in identifying employee training needs within the Agency
Research information (e.g. courses, materials, training consultants, etc for the purpose of developing new programs that meet identified training needs in accordance with Agency objectives and guidelines
Evaluate training materials (e.g. training data, instruction outlines, text and handouts, evaluation of training effectiveness, etc for the purpose of implementing training activities that address identified training needs in accordance with Agency objectives and guidelines
Maintain a variety of manual and electronic files and/or records (e.g. training procedure manuals, guides, course materials, handouts/visuals, training records, required reports, etc
Assist in the planning and organization of employee trainings and materials (e.g. required certification trainings, professional development, compliance, education, business, and technical areas; including training manuals, guides, handouts, visuals, etc for the purpose of implementing training activities that address identified training needs in the Agency
Prepare a variety of written materials (e.g. reports, memos, letters, name tags, sign-in sheets, class lists, etc for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference, and/or convey information
Ensure all work is managed to a timeline
Manage the publishing and upload of final Online training content
Ensure Excellent Customer Service is at the forefront of all work undertaken
