Job Description :
The client needs to provide a more customer-focused solution for a class code base rating system. Currently these processes reside in an IT driven Rates and Payment system, but ultimately the goal of this project is to allow for the actuarial team to have more finite control over the equations and values used in, and the execution of, the new programs.
Candidate must engage with three key groups within the client. First, they will be expected to participate with the business area’s Actuarial team on defining and scoping requirements for desired system. They will also need to work with IT’s Rates and Payments team to understand the data systems and integration points necessary to implement the future state. Finally, they will need to work the Enterprise Architecture group in making sure any future direction aligns with existing architectural decisions, or that any new additions are properly included into future plans. The Candidate should be able to research new technologies and products in the marketplace with an eye toward integration with existing architecture, ease of implementation, and supportability.
The Candidate will be expected to define an architecture to achieve business goals, document this architecture and transition knowledge to the client staff for support, and help implement this solution through test environments and into a Production level.
