Title :Application Analyst

Location – Houston, TX

Contract - 3 Months +

What you will do:

Gather healthcare customer requirements

Translate those requirements into Cerner Reports, programs and alerts

Use the Cerner Discern Visual Developer tool and supporting components to deliver the reports and alerts.

Writing Clinical Decision Support (CDS) reports

Creating Cerner Alerts

Must Haves

Cerner Command Language (CCL)

SQL

JavaScript, HTML, AJAX

Discern Visual Developer

Knowledgeable of multiple Cerner programming tools including:

Cerner Millennium Data Models

Discern Expert

Cerner Expert Knowledge System (EKS)

Cerner Clinical Decision Support (CDS)

Discern Visual Developer / Layout Builder

Discern Analytics DA2 / Explorer Menu Reports

Cerner PM Rules language (VBA / CCL)

Nice to Have:

Extensive experience with other major EMR/EHR systems outside cerner (e.g. Epic, Allscripts, Kareo)
