Role: Appian Admin
Location: Houston, TX
Full Time

Must-Have
Good understanding of Appian architecture on premise and cloud.
Appian and Java platform (e.g. Apache, JBoss) installation, configuration, and upgrades.
Core JAVA Concepts
Cluster and Load balancing Configuration in Jboss and Appian.
Environment configuration, Performance tuning, Validation, testing, troubleshooting of all configurations and platform
Good in ITIL process, Incident management, Change management, Problem management, Root cause analysis.
Build Activities, Deployment of applications, doing required changes for application.
Day to day maintenance of farm: monitoring, reporting, platform availability, configuration, troubleshooting and environment analysis
Configure 3rd Party Tools like autosys to monitor Appian Engines, JVMs, webserver instances and servers.
Apply updates / hotfixes / service packs and version migration
Create and run scripts to configure autosys jobs, maintain and configure the environment.
Quarterly maintenance checklist activities and Monthly platform health checks and remediation.
Evaluate newer version of platform and peripheral tools.
SSL Cert installation, renewal and Client certificate Maintenance.
Good-to-Have
Knowledge on DevOps process.
