Title : Angular UI/UX Web Developer
Location : Miami Springs, FL
Job Description
ASP.Net web projects in the same conceptual space across two company websites. The website is connected on top of an MLM platform and adjoining DB structure (Exigo The output result of each project is the same, although, the logic to accomplish the output may be different between each website as the architectures are different.
In short, the company sales order system (Exigo) has a custom Promotion Code Generator that works in conjunction with an Order Calculation module which allows discounting of orders. The functions and features live within the Exigo framework which are called to and used by the checkout cart on the primary website . While the overall validation and application (or denial) of the promo codes is currently functional within the checkout process, but, the UX is limited at best.
For these projects the developer will be provided with beta versions of the outlined requests. These beta versions have been through one round of QA/UAT with a full bug log and failure report. It will be your choice to either utilize existing beta code or evaluate and rebuild as the existing code would need to be rebased to the current release versions in order to begin. Conceptual design and wireframes will also be provided along with use cases and error handling requirements. The developer will work alongside our internal BA and Sr. PM through completion of this contract. In addition, you will have access to our Lead Developer for training and Q&A throughout the projects.
Responsibilities
? The bulk of this contract is to finalize a robust UX while maintaining functional integrity of the Promo Codes.
? The second half of the contra ct is to duplicate the UX and functional aspects in the company’s secondary website.
? Note: The Back Office currently does not handle promo code entry at checkout.
Skills and Qualifications
? 7+ years of concentrated web development. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
? A strong background including a solid understanding of expertise in UX software
? HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills
? Programming Languages: HTML, JavaScript, Visual Basic, SQL, C++, PHP, CSS, jQuery. Basic C# is a huge plus.
? Development IDEs:Visual Studio, JCreator, JBuilder,, Notepad++
? Development Tools: FTP, Maven, GitHub.
? Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
? A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns.
? Ability to iterate your designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
? Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
? A clear understanding of the importance of user-centered design.
? Must be a good communicator, have meticulous attention to detail and be highly organized
? Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
? Bachelor’s Degree in business, technology or related field
? Bilingual in both English and Spanish (Preferred) but not required
