Job Description
The Candidate should be a SW Engineer who has managed and completed medium size Android SW Program with an external offshore team. The candidate should have
5-10yrs prior SW Engineering Experience of which at least 2 years should be in a similar role
Sound knowledge in Android and especially knowledge in Android N or O is required
Good knowledge of SW Processes and procedures and Agile Development.
A good working knowledge of C/C++ and Java
Strong Knowledge on Embedded Driver Development in Linux/Android
Strong good working knowledge on Android Frameworks
To contribute to and drive team prioritization discussions
To be able to speak to all open work - status, schedule, impediments, etc.
To be able to conduct Bug scrubs and follow-ups on Engineering action items form those meetings.
Worked with product, development ,system engineering, SCM, support and QA teams to effectively drive projects from MRD to launch
Manage cross-team dependencies and escalations
Good problem solving skills
Very good communication skills
