Position; Android Dev/Technical Lead

Location: Woonsocket, RI/ Arizona

Duration: Full time

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills : Hands-on coding, systems analysis, design, and delivery of projects assigned.

Coordinate project performance with clients.
Experience working in a collaborative team environment
Experience developing location aware mobile applications
Meet project objectives, providing systems that operate in a cost-effective manner.
Experience developing testing suites for mobile applications
Must be strong with core apps framework, design with mobile technologies.
Respond to problems in a timely, effective manner.
Work with key members of the management team to define and drive technical strategy .
Assess feasibility and ramifications of new business requirements. Design appropriate solutions and recommend alternative approaches when necessary
Stay abreast of advancements in e-commerce technologies in order to determine relevance and possible impact to existing system
Recommend and drive adoption of engineering best practices, including use of design patterns, code reviews and automated unit testing
Roles and responsibility: • Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to resolve issues across the mobile platforms - iOS/Ipad/Android.
Expertise in coordinating with production deployment activities.
Ability to understand and analyze issues across multiple vendors and interfaces.
Coordination with business team for issue resolution.
Meet project objectives, providing systems that operate in a cost-effective manner.
Respond to problems in a timely, effective manner.
Work with key members of the management team to define and drive technical strategy .
Stay abreast of advancements in e-commerce technologies in order to determine relevance and possible impact to existing system.
Desirable Technical / Functional Skills: • 5+ years of professional Android development experience
Excellent technical knowledge of Java for Android and the Eclipse IDE, Android Studio, SVN
Demonstrates strong experience/knowledge of the Android SDK
Comfortable working through the entire stack from user interface through systems levels
Strong knowledge and understanding of different Android platforms
Knowledge in spirit and strong object oriented development skills.
Experience in consuming web services (SOAP/REST) and processing data (XML/JSON) is essential and integration of Android pay API is must.
Experience with SQLite, NoSQL or other databases.
Extensive UI Design experience.
Good understanding of OOP Model Development Concept.
Experience with performance optimization for mobile devices.
Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript would be considered a plus.
Good Knowledge in Java,Android SDK,XML is required
Experience in Hybrid applicaiton development includes:
-PhoneGap – Must have solid experience with PhoneGap a.k.a. Cordova
-Must have experience with at least 2 Mobile JavaScript frameworks Sencha, Kendo, Angular JS, Node.JS.
-Knowledge in CSS Frameworks like Bootstrap
-HTML5 & JavaScript – Excellent HTML5 & JavaScript capabilities
-Must have Excellent JQuery support
Total experience in required skill (year : Total experience to be 6 to 9 years with 5+ years of professional Android development experience
