Role: Android Developer
Location: Holtsville, NY
Android Framework developer: In depth knowledge of Android framework & Internals
o Preferred Education: Bachelors degree or Masters in Computer Engineering and/or Computer Science and/or Electrical Engineering
o Preferred Work Experience (years): 7+ years of software development experience
o C/C++ embedded programming on mobile device
o Experience in development of Linux kernel device drivers
o Android Framework development experience
o Exposure to PMIC/battery management software and hardware
o Experience with Qualcomm architectures will be a plus Hands On knowledge of GIT Usage Good Debugging skills Problem solving attitude Logical reasoning and analytical skills

Architects, designs, and supports developing, and testing of software solutions to several highly-complex technical projects. Creates software specifications for the projects. Leads technology roadmap process. Recommends project approach and goals.
May supervise the activities of others.
Development of power management software driver stack.
Development of Enterprise battery features which involves software architecture, design and development of Linux kernel drivers and android framework.
Position involves working closely with hardware team on validation of hardware using low level drivers.
